Privacy Policy

We use information supplied via the website contact form or by email solely to provide tour services. We share personal information with external partners only when necessary. That happens when a trusted third party operates part of your tour.

Irish Private Tours operates an opt in mailing list. We routinely delete personal information after providing services, unless you ask us to stay in touch.

Terms and Conditions

For tours with Michael Fox:

Sometimes we cannot provide a tour as booked. Causes include vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, road conditions or traffic disruption. In that case we refund any payments made in full, with no further liability.

We advise guests to wear walking shoes with good grip throughout the tour. Walking conditions can be slippery, particularly on grass at sites such as the Hill of Tara. We cannot accept responsibility for injury resulting from slips or falls.

Unfortunately theft can occur at tourist sites. Guests should not leave valuables or travel documents in an unattended vehicle. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

The tour price does not include travel insurance. We strongly advise guests to arrange suitable coverage before travel. Your policy should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, baggage, money and public liability.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are counted from the tour date in Irish time.

  • If we receive your cancellation 30 days or more before the tour date, all payments less transaction charges will be refunded.
  • If we receive it fewer than 30 days and more than 10 days before the tour date, 50 percent is refunded.
  • If we receive it 10 days or fewer before the tour date, there is no refund.

For tours with other operators:

Sometimes a third party operates a tour booked through IrishPrivateTours.com. In that case the contract is between the guest and the tour operator. IrishPrivateTours.com cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, delay, accident or injury arising in connection with such tours.
