Information supplied via the website contact form or by email is used solely for the purpose of providing tour services. Personal information is only shared with external partners when required to deliver a tour service that may be operated by a trusted third party.

Irish Private Tours operates an opt in mailing list. Personal information is routinely deleted once services have been provided, unless ongoing communication is requested.

Terms and Conditions

For tours with Michael Fox:

In the event that a tour cannot be provided as booked due to circumstances such as vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, road conditions or traffic disruption, any payments made will be refunded in full, with no further liability.

Guests are advised to wear walking shoes with good grip for the duration of the tour. Walking conditions can be slippery, particularly on grass at sites such as the Hill of Tara. No responsibility can be accepted for injury resulting from slips or falls.

Unfortunately theft can occur at tourist sites. Guests should not leave valuables or travel documents in an unattended vehicle. No responsibility can be accepted for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Guests are strongly advised to arrange suitable travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, baggage, money and public liability prior to travel.

Cancellation Policy

  • All payments, less transaction charges, are refundable up to 30 days before a tour.
  • 50 percent refund between 30 days and 10 days before a tour.
  • No refund within 10 days of a tour.
  • Guests who cancel at short notice or do not arrive on the day are liable for the full tour cost.

For tours with other operators:

For tours booked through IrishPrivateTours.com that are operated by third parties, the contract is between the guest and the tour operator. IrishPrivateTours.com cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, delay, accident or injury arising in connection with such tours.
